Stylease Infant Wear Showcased in Parents Magazine

Traverse City, MI - April 13, 2003 -Officials from Stylease infant wear announced that Parents magazine is featuring their unique line of children's apparel in the May issue, on sale now.

Stylease, one-piece infant wear that looks like separates, is featured in the "Show & Tell" section of the number-one family magazine in America. This section of the magazine is used by its editors to spotlight items they consider to be an innovative or standout children's product.

The infant wear, launched less than a year ago, has a patent-pending concept not seen before in commercially available children's apparel. The rompers are designed to look like separate tops and bottoms, giving the baby a contemporary layered look, but are actually one-piece outfits with snap openings in key areas for easy baby dressing and changing.

The makers of Stylease say its unique design allows parents to achieve a wide range of styles while eliminating the common problems they encounter using separate pieces of clothing on their babies.

"Separates become twisted, and shirts untuck. The challenge of changing separates can irritate both parents and baby," says Stylease's founder and chief designer, Jennifer Hughes. "With Stylease, outfits maintain their layered look, and dressing your baby or changing diapers is literally a snap. It's the best of both worlds. Ease for the parent. Style for the child."

The "Show & Tell" section features a toddler wearing Picnic, one of the girls' outfits from Stylease's spring line. Hughes, a mother of two, is pleased by the magazine's coverage. "I read Parents magazine for insight and new ideas. It thrills me to see our product featured in 'Show & Tell'." says Hughes. Jennifer says her inspiration for inventing Stylease came from the lack of a fashionable layered look for babies that were also practical for the parent.

"There came a point when I wanted a more sophisticated look for my daughter, but didn't want to deal with separates. I was sure I wasn't the only one struggling to balance fashion and practicality," said Jennifer.

Along with Parents magazine, both industry and consumer reaction to the line has been more than enthusiastic.

"When we show people our outfits, the illusion of layers is a little too convincing." says Hughes. "People look at them and think 'they're just separates' but when they realize they are actually looking at a one-piece romper, they become truly captivated."

Stylease's spring line is available in four different color combinations for each of the eight styles, for babies from 0-24 months. The line is sold at select specialty retailers across the country and available nationwide through Stylease's web site.
